Ocean Marine Davits

I just received my Ocean Marine Davits and will be installing them this week on my Hunter 44AC. I am truly impressed with not only the quality of the components but the completeness of the kit as well. Everything is included (custom bridles for the dinghy, u bolts for the dinghy transom, all the necessary hardware.) Mike Thomas (AKA Dr. Davit) is a walking encyclopedia on how to install these including specific info on individual model designs. He is extremely customer focused and a pleasure to talk with. The instruction manual reads as though Mike is standing next to you as the installation proceeds, including "mandatory" check points where Mike asks that you call him before actually drilling into the boat. Can't wait to get them installed. Pictures to follow.

Love my Ocean Davits well built and I got mine used so not the complete kit but everything needed to mount the Davits and they are great for sure.

The installation took about 8 hours over 3 days. The process was straight forward and everything went together as Mike described. They are at just the right height so I can see over dinghy and we can still use the transom swim platform. I didn't t realize that they can be folded inward when not in use. I also tested the Zodiac self bailing valve and it will drain any accumulating rainwater while on the davits. All in all a great product.
