Ocean Marine Davits

If I am correct, one of the Hunter 460 owners has installed an Ocean Marine System davit system. I believe it was an owner in the Northern region.I purchase this system at the Annaplois Boat Show but it does not seem to fit the boat without messing up the lockers and powercords.I have seen two KATO system and know they work. Can anyone help? I have an email into Ocean but would appreciate any ideas or instructions on where I am incorrect. ThanksJim Johnson "Our Buddy"

Give Ocean Marine a call

Jim, Recommend you call Ocean Marine on the phone.....found them to be really customer supportive. We have their davits on our 376...found the design similar to Kato....but price and personal attention from Ocean Marine got my business. They gave me guidance over the phone relating the particulars of the 376 install and helped me through it with no problems and no interference with stern lockers, etc.....sure they can and will help you the same way.

Davits on a 460

Jim: I have a 460 with the Ocean Marine davits. Haven't put the dinghy on them yet but I checked the interference when at the boat about 5 weeks ago and did not see any problem with access to the lockers or to the power cord connections. The installation looked good to me. I will be at the boat next week and will put the dinghy on it and can check again.Reach me at rowen@direct.ca if you want to discuss this more.Richard Owen
