OC50'07 refridgerator

As a new owner of the boat and concerning the wriring question:


We have 2 refridgerator on board.
The top loaded on has a water flow. The flow is connected to a water pump down the floor.

How does the system works ? is there a switch ?

Without knowing manufacturer of refrigeration unit and model it is imposable to answer your question. Normally pump is fused separately and controlled automatically by refrigerator wiring.

Oceanis 50

In my top load (B 50 2010) the top load unit is a freezer. There is a drian at the bottom that works a pump out and it's pump is a Whale 220 pump located in the floor at the seatee. The discharge is also tied to both shower sumps.......a very stupid idea from Beneteau.

Mix up some fresh water with colored food dye. Pump it to through the shower drians to see which one is causing the problem. I think the Whale pump has a built in check value that is part of the rebuild kit.

oh......the switch that works the pump is to the left of the stove, small silver momentary push button in the wood return to the port side.

I never see a switch near the oven.
Yes all drain pums are tied. ....

I'll search for a switch next time we stay on board......hopefully begin of Dec.
