Objects at aft end of bilge

On my '77 O'Day 25, there are two heavily coated metal ring-like objects at the aft end of the bilge. One on starboard side has mostly rusted away. What is their purpose?

I have a 26 which was the successor to the 25 and similar in many ways. I have been in at least 3 25's that I can recall, maybe more. :)

I have no idea what you are talking about. What about posting pictures?:D

When you say bilge, I assume you are talking about under sole of cabin and not under cockpit.

wouldn't those be the hoses that connect the bilge to the bilge pump. On my boat the end of the hose has a pipe clamp on it.
