Has anyone upgraded a Westerbeke 30B Three to a high capacity alternator. If so what did you do and with what hardware. After 10 to 20 phone calls to various distributors and technical experts, I have come to the conclusion there is not a simple (relative) way to do it. Also notice that my 30B seems to have an alternative mount point for a 1inch single foot mount instead of the standard saddle mount, has anyone tried that. Right now based upon my research it looks like a 50 amp internally regulated alt is the only way to go.
