The vaseline on the o-ring is a great idea. I've been doing it since I purchased my first boat.

Seen a lot of "O" Ring failures over the years. Especially as a machine design engineer. Why change one very year.
Enough said.

Ha! Sorry, I will be winter camping in the Blue Ridge on the 3rd, nurturing my inner Hillbilly.
Okay, but if you do want to make the deal sometime, I live in Eastport, U.S.A.

You boys are hard task masters! OK logged in to McMaster Carr - here are the specifications:
Product Detail
Chemical-Resistant Multipurpose O-Ring, Viton®, 3/16 Fractional Width, Dash Number 326
About $1.14 USD each, 10 to a bag.

I did notice the Viton are 3/16" whereas the Buna are 1/8". I found a CDN source for Buna but will keep looking for the Viton.

Ok, so, found the Viton on Amazon.ca 5 for $3.82. With the US/ CDN exchange I could sell them to you guys and make a tidy profit.... ;)
