Transom Ladder
I helped my friend Walter install a transom ladder on an O'Day 192. He bought the ladder off Rudy at D & R Marine. He also bought a deck plate for the inside transom, to get at the nuts, bolts, and washers along with fitting the plywood backing plate. If you do buy a ladder, install a deck plate. It makes it a lot easy to get at the Gudgeons, self bailing hose, or the ladder bolts. I just installed a 6" Beckson deck plate on my inside transom. I was able to take both of my Gudgeons out, re-caulk them and reinstall them all by myself with no help from anyone. I also replaced my self bailing hose.
