Number of O'Day 23's built

After just 2 posts I have had quite a few responses from O'Day 23 owners, particularly owners of the 1979 model. It made me curious as to the number of 23's built and how many of them were the 1979 model. Anyone have those records? It would be interesting to know how many are still sailing.

It has a lot of information on all O'Days, company history, etc. I think that the company records are lost forever, so take the information with a grain of salt, but it makes interesting reading nonetheless.

My Hull # 1026 for 1984 ODay23

My 1984 ODay 23 hull number is 1026 based on digits in the serial number assuming an earlier posting to this forum about how to extract data from the serial numbers is right. I don't know when they ceased manufacturing after this.
