I liked Donna Lang's boat. It was a double ender and said on one side,

"Inspired
Virgin"

and the other

"Insanity
Islands"

Not exactly truth in advertising on the port side although the starboard was reasonably accurate from what I've heard.

Seems to be more and more Cigarette boats around the chesapeake these days, they are crazy fast and you have to wonder who is at the controls.

Temporary Insanity is where I would be just paying the fuel costs for one trip out on one of those...

It has nothing to do with reading charts

The skipper should see an opthamologist or get a seeing eye dog help steer

that picture was used by one of the Bay area insurance agencies for a few years. It's worth more than the usual thousand words!

Maybe he put his signifigant other behind the wheel and told her to steer at that mark while he went below to take care of something. THen he stayed down below for a tad bit too long! LOL

If there are more really fast boats found their waypoint like this and not hurting any others, the waterway will be a better place for all to enjoy. Unlike the fast motor boat that mounted a slow sailboat from the stern at night in another court case, this one has only herself to hurt.

At that speed with the bow high in the air, you can't see anything. Slow Sailboat should have the right to install ramping rod like the acient war boats. Bow, Stern and sides.
