...but what is the "technical" name of this type of furler? I have ones like this on my 22 and 23 (look newer, but basiclly the same). Just would like to know so when someone ask what kind of furler I have, I don't have to sit there and go "ummmm, it is one of those, you know....." type remark. Thanks as always.

Its just a roller furler

for you headsail. It looks very generic and possibly DIY home made.

That's definitely a MacDonagal 328

With MacPhearson drum and an Aquamarine sail. And if you believe that I have a bridge that I want to talk to you about.;)

My guess

I would say it's a single line, luff wire furler. Schaeffer calls theirs "Free flying" http://www.furling.com/freeflying.html Hope that helps. Kevin

Furler - Drum/Curler...

Well you swabs know my feelings on furlers by now, and if ya CAN"T use 'em in over thirty knots, why bother with girly furly; fer girly men anyhows...;-) Now Brian...would that be the bridge with all the tobacco stains I been hearing about? The one without any ferocious tigers skulking about? We need a bit more research thar Bill...;-)

No Brian, I sold that one at a nice

profit and swindled a man for two more. One pays 350 dollars a day in tolls-no passes. The other will be even more profitable once the roads are connected to it.
