Not a Wing Keel ( LaDonna )

Hi...This is not a wing keel though. It's just what I said. It is my understanding from Catalina's site that they made 3 keels over the years. The fin 4' keel, the wing keel and this one. And it is shaped like an inverted V. Oh well, I'm sure it will work out fine. The seller's have done quite extensive cruising with it. Just wondered about it's performance. *s*

Catalina did make three types of keels!

The third was a "shoal draft" keel, and it ore-dated the wing keel. It appears to be similar to the Scheel keel. Due to the minimal draft (the low aspect ratio), it shouldn't be too good at pointing, and will have quite a bit of leeway.Steve
