--------
I once had a girl
Or should I say she once had me
She showed me her room
Isn't it good Norwegian wood?

She asked me to stay
And she told me to sit anywhere
So I looked around
And I noticed there wasn't a chair
I sat on the rug biding my time
Drinking her wine

We talked until two and then she said
"It's time for bed"
She told me she worked
In the morning and started to laugh
I told her I didn't
And crawled off to sleep in the bath

And when I awoke I was alone
This bird had flown
So I lit a fire
Isn't it good Norwegian wood?

Nice work. I tried peeking around the corner to see what make of 12 string it was. I have a Guild F212XL that I bought in 1975 or so. Also a Guild 6 string D25 from around the same time and a 2016 Epiphone AJ200VS 6 string. I play them equally poorly but have fun every evening at cocktail hour. My family lets me do that 'cuz they agree that I shouldn't sing anymore!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead::beer::beer::beer:

The lighting prevents revealing the guitar. But, it is a '75 Martin D12-28. Almost matches my '75 Martin D35. Plus I have an 2006 Martin D12X1. I am kind of a Martin guy. And when I played in bands, I was asked not to sing. LOL

Enjoyed. Any others you care to share? This may be a great post for the musically gifted sailors on this forum to share if so inclined. Unfortunately I’m not one of them. Again thanks for sending this along

Sounds like 1975 was a very good year for us to buy good, quality guitars. ;)
