Northern Lights Generator

Have a Northern Lights Generator on our Hunter 410. When i start it up and run it it no longer seems to be powering up the AC system. Not sure what i am missing, worked fine early this year and in previous years. My first thought is maybe a bad fuse at the panel but not sure if im skipping some switch or fuse somewhere else ??

Check the manual. Maybe there's a reset button. Check all your wires and connections for continuity.

Iwould imagine there is a reset button somewhere on the generator itself. That would be the first thing to check.

AC on your boat is very complex.

1) Shore power off
2) Shore power failure
3) Your ICG controls
4) 120VC Circuits with GCIF
5) Common Ground with DC
6) Controls on your Genset
7) AC Panel Breakers [my H430 has two]
8) Genset Engine status

The people who claim to hear the Northern Lights

Some people have claimed the aurora borealis makes discernible crackling, whooshing or whizzing sounds. Are they highly perceptive, or are the sounds a trick of the mind?
