Hey guys whats the best way to redo the non-skid surface? Sould I sand it down first. The reason I ask is because of the molded raised bumbs on the deck surface would prevent getting the surface sanded down. Or should I just use a paint remover on it?

Stainless Wire Brushes
I used a selection of stainless steel wire brushes on mine. Everything from toothbrush size all thw way to a 2"x4" size. Worked great, cleaned the crevices and created a surface that the paint would adhere to. I used water with them first and then acetone. Kevin

When I repainted mine I roughed up the old surface with brass wool, it worked great...stay away from steel wool though, you'll literally spend months trying to get rid of little rust spots from that stuff!
