Although my Hunter is somewhat newer than yours, the only pattern number that a search resulted with is 102 GFD. Sure looks like the pattern on my boat.I was looking to repair some spider cracks in the non-skid lazarette covers on our 1984 Hunter 31 with a Gibco flex mold, but does anyone know the pattern number Hunter used? Gibco has lots of options and I'm lost.
This is quite an interesting project, I am at a bit of a loss visualizing how you do this though.I was looking to repair some spider cracks in the non-skid lazarette covers on our 1984 Hunter 31 with a Gibco flex mold, but does anyone know the pattern number Hunter used? Here's the basic protocol I was planning to follow. This is quite an interesting project, I am at a bit of a loss visualizing how you do this though.
I “think” I know how the pattern in the mold would happen - place the liquid gel coat in the mold, with mold release applied where the pattern is required but do you then place the existing lazarette cover in to act as the substrate?
I understand now. Here's the basic protocol I was planning to follow
