I have a 81 Hunter 22 that has good gelcoat on the deck but the non skid surface needs the color restored. Does anyone know how to go about fixing this problem?

Thanks
Mike

Maybe Try New Glass 2

I used the original product on my prior boat's non-skid and it worked well. I recently sent them a query regarding using their current product. (I had been using Island Girl and more recently Woody Wax) Here is their reply:

Hello Rick.......

Thanks for your interest in NewGlass2. Sorry to take so long with a reply.
The email received fine but would not send my responses. Oh well. We use
NewGlass on non skid because it is not slippery, it cleans up very nicely
and it makes the fiberglass shine. We know that wax will work on
fiberglass for a limited number of years. After the gel coat starts to
oxidize and dry out, wax begins to loose its' effectiveness. Wax works well
on a smooth surface. Once the surface begins to "open up" wax stops working
as well or as long. That is when NewGlass can really make a difference.
NewGlass2 is NewGlass with more acrylic solids added for a longer lasting
surface. Let us know if we can assist..........

Thanks Rick, I will try this and let you know how well it worked. You will hear something when I get the time to get it done.
