Bow light inop. NO 12 volts no continuity from breaker panel to the light. Stern light on same line and it works. BUZZED red and ground wires up to port and starbard V berth Bow light wires run in railing.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this broken bow light? Does the railing have to be removed.

Catalina used, sorry, lamp wire, for bow and stern lights in that decade. I suggest using the old wires to pull new ones. One thing our skippers did was to add a 4 inch round Beckson port in the anchor locker to gain access.
Thank youfor getting back to me. I tried to pull the old wire out from the railing, would not move a inch.I tried to feed bailing wire down the railing, still no help too tight of a bend. I will keep my fingers crossed and try the the 4inch hole. Thangs again
