No sailing in Sarasota yet

My First Mate and I have been in Sarasota since Friday and so far no sailing. We stayed out of the regatta people's way Saturday and Sunday. Then the heavy weather moved in. We hope to sail tomorrow.

Drove all the way up to Anna Maria Island yesterday. Beautiful drive and saw our very first Manatee. Very exciting!

"Drove all the way. . . .". Kermit, I have ridden my bike round trip on Long Boat Key a number of times. It is pretty, I start at the west end of the high bridge, through St. Armands circle, up to Anna Maria. But for beach time I prefer Siesta Key. What's that breakfast spot where Dick Vitale hangs out? I have sailed there in a rented C-22, a chartered H460, and my own boat. I hope you get to.
