Thanks Ed. Yep, pretty much the southern shore of Gideon Bay, you can sail around Big Island but it gets a bit narrow in spots. So if you are looking at a map of the lake, I sail "up" from Gideon Bay and to the north side of Big Island. do some east-west runs and what not, then sail back down to the marina in the bay. Next season I am hoping to have my own boat and I would be on a mooring in Excelsior Bay. The bridges are too low to get to the other southern lake. Which oddly enough is known as Upper Lake Minnetonka and the northern part, where I sail, is known as Lower Lake Minnetonka. Go figure eh?Very nice cb. Just looking at your lake on Google. Seems you are on the south western section. Can you get into that larger northeastern section. That is one convoluted lake!
