I have been reading past articles in this forum and I think I've tried just about everything previously recommended. My H410 has Jabsco manual heads. During this past winter I may have had a line freeze in the aft head. Was living aboard and couldn't get the inside much above 52-53 degrees. While pumping, I noticed it was getting harder to pump, so naturally, I just pumped harder. Something "snapped". Bought a new pump and installed it. Bowl still wouldn't evacuate. Snaked the hose between the bowl and holding tank. Still no help. Removed the vent line from the tank and blew it out with the hose. Pulled the new pump apart to make sure there was nothing wrong with it. Any other suggestions would be welcomed. Could there be something broken other than the pump? After spending untold hours working on this problem, I'm just about ready to "call the guy". Thanks.

Only thing left is process of elimination
To eliminate the toilet, put a pan under the discharge fitting, disconnect the head discharge line and flush the toilet...if water gushes out the head discharge into the pan, the problem is downstream of the toilet. If it doesn't, the problem is in the toilet...first thing I'd check is the joker valve to see if you managed to install it backward. Assuming that the toilet isn't the where your problem is...If there's a y-valve in the head discharge line to the tank that lets you choose between going into the tank or flushing directly overboard at sea, that's the next place to look...is the handle turned toward the tank? If not, and if you're trying to flush against a closed thru-hull, that would be the problem. Make sure the handle actually turns the y-valve...it can be aimed in the right direction, but the y-valve can still be closed. You've disconnected the tank vent hose from the tank and blown it out...but have you checked the vent thru-hull for a blockage? Have you checked the vent fitting on the tank? The thru-hull and the tank fitting are far more likely to become blocked than the hose itself. If you still can't find it, we'll keep looking.

Thanks, Peggy. No "y" valve to worry about, but I'll check the other options over the weekend (providing Isabel stays south where they predict. If she comes north, I probably won't have to worry about the head not working
