Before I start digging around, anyone have any quick recommendations for restoring 110 V AC to the outlet in the head? On our 91 35.5, we've got just one outlet directly starboard of our sink. All other 110 outlets work fine.

One sure test

Hi Dave! I'll bet that if you stick a screwdriver in it you'll it somehow fixed itself! But seriously, I'd guess the problem is either at one of the ends of the circuit. I'd first check the connections at the outlet, and at the panel. You might want to use a voltmeter to make sure the breaker is still good. Then, if all that fails, I'd run new wire just to be safe. p.

Check Gnd Interrupt Recepticle

If your boat is like my '95 version, the 110 volt ac recepticle by the chart table will have a Ground interrupter breaker in the recepticle. If you plug in an appliance that has a grounding problem, this little breaker in the recepticle will trip. It will disable all of the 110 volt recepticles on the starboard side of the boat. These are, the one in the main cabin on the starboard side, the one with the breaker built in, and the one in the head.
