Forecast winds to 50 knots and waves to 13 feet in our neck of the woods tonight. Sailing season is really over up here. Marine Forecast issued for Western Lake Ontario. ..Storm warning in effect.. Wind northwest 20 knots increasing to west gales 35 this afternoon and to storms 50 near midnight. Periods of rain. Waves near 1 metre building to 2 to 3 this afternoon then 3 to 4 overnight. Outlook..Storm force westerlies diminishing to strong to gale force.

Weather -- yuch!

I was supposed to take the boat a short trip to the yard for winter layup today. Current forecast off shore: This Afternoon S to se winds 40 to 50 kt...becoming SW to W 30 to 40 kt late. Seas 8 to 15 ft...building to 12 to 22 ft...highest E. Rain changing to scattered showers and tstms. Tonight SW to W winds increasing to 35 to 45 kt. Seas 12 to 16 ft...except to 22 ft se portion. Scattered showers.
