Oh happy day. My port lights are no longer leaking and the interior is dry. Thanks to all who offered advice. In the end the portlights were not leaking from the new butyl but from the old gaskets that held the plexiglass inthe frame. I caulked all of the portlights with a clear caulk called Lexel and now my boat is dry :dance:.
Since I have an obernight trip to Jones Island in the San Juans planned in 2 weeks I am very glad to be dry inside.
