This message may be way too late to help, but... You can anchor there, just south/east of the cable line that is marked between Fort Adams and Newport. It seems like a nice night. The holding ground isn't the greatest, but once set, its good for 20 kts. Feels like 0-5 tonight. This weekend is Jazz Fesitval weekend, so if you stay in the area, grab the fist mooring that becomes available tomorrow- they will be gone by noon.
