Over the past several years I have spent many hours here on HOW. I have learned so very much and even contributed a couple of times. During these dialogs many of you will remember that I had been planning to exit Lake Erie and head south in Ladylove, our beloved H37C. We postponed the plan to go in 2004 due to a very expensive wedding near the end of 2003. So we spent much of 2004 planning and bending a lot of ears. Many of you were most helpful. Now I have to tell you that a family medical condition will not allow us to pursue this dream in 2005. Right now we are just praying that we can continue to sail on Lake Erie. It would be our seventh season with Ladylove. I find that HOW is a great diversion and I plan to check in regularly. I hope that you all have a happy New Year and great sailing in 2005.

Best wishes Ed...

You will be in our prayers too. Thanks for the past and future help you have provided me with Rhapsodie. Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year for 2005. Richard

Wishing you the best of health in the new year. Isn't there more to be said about dreams and time. Funny, but with no sailing experience except for health problems in 2004, I went out and bought a boat for my sailing dreams. A 410! Now what, I don't know...except to say reaching for peace is the perfect cruise.Hope and happiness to you and your family.

You're one of the regulars here that keeps HOW interesting for the rest of us.

Hey Ed, one more thought, but keep it secret.

I've had MS for nearly 25 years. Went cruising after a successful career and then repaired the damage. Only one rule, don't let the bastards grind you down.
