I purchased a canvas cover from "The Canvas Store" for my Catalina 28. I was tired of spending money to get it shrink wraped, but did not want build a system to hold the canvas. This is the way to go, you use the boom to hold aft canvas and the halyard holds the mid bow section. It took me about 3-4 hours from start to finish ( the temp was 40 degrees), next year will take less. The cost was about half the cost of plastic, if you are intrested there # is 631-549-0970. they make covers for all sail boats and they fit perfect.
