Yesterday I put our new 309 on the mooring for the first time and was unsure how to run the mooring lines since there are no bow chocks in which to run the line through. Currently I have the line running from the cleat and between the anchor roller and forward pulpit stanchion. I guess the other options would be to use the anchor roller or run the line between the first and second stanchion. I'm concerned about chaffing of the fiberglass and rub rail. Any suggestions? Has anyone mounted chocks on their boat, and, if so how did they fasten the chock?
Thanks,
