They aren't quite so AR regarding length as they were, Skipper. Right now there's no problem with C320's and Bene 323's in 30 foot slips, if the slip is wide enough. I used to have mine in a 30' slip that was 1 inch wider than the beam. If it's got a bowsprit something like a PSC 31, Orion 27 or NorSea 27 is the length that will fit in 30'. An IP 320 or PSC 34 needs to go in a 35.

We were able to get a slip in the Port Royal Marina in King Harbor fairly quickly when we moved our Catalina 30 up from Cabrillo Marina down in San Pedro. (The afternoon winds down in Hurricane Gulch were too much for relaxed family sailing)
The slips in King Harbor in general seem to be turning over fairly quickly this year.
Great sailing out King Harbor, but consistently lighter winds than Cabrillo. Great laid-back harbor feel with a nice mix of small local restaurants and a reasonable amount of kayaking, SUPs, etc on weekends during the season.
Good local racing on Tuesday's, Thursday's, and on weekends.
All depends on what matches your particular needs.

Thanks, Ted. I'll broaden the search to include up to 32'. But I think we'll be bringing the boat with us. There's just no inventory out there that I'm interest in. I'd hate to lose her just to save shipping cost if there's no adequate replacement available.
What dock are you on? Maybe we can be dock mates again.
I also think this is due to slow boat sales during winter. That being said, I will be putting a gorgeous '90 Catalina 30 Mk11 #5757 on Seattle Craigslist in a couple of weeks.

This is exactly what I did. Spoke with Nathan and set it up. The boat will arrive from Annapolis Dec 22 to the King Harbor Marine Center. Later we'll move her to Dana Point in about Feb or March when the waitlist is up. Thank you very much for the tip.
When is the boat being loaded? I'm across back creek and would like to come over and watch.
