No Binnacle Compass on Oceanis 34.1

My Oceanis 34.1 did not come with a binnacle compass. The only compass is a very small one located just to starboard of the companionway. That is virtually impossible to see from the helm.

Anyone know of any aftermarket way to add a decent binnacle compass to the 34.1?

Somewhat difficult to run the wiring but how about surface mounted compases on the surface below the grab bars at each station :

I'll have to check, but if I remember correctly it is more like 3 inches wide. But I'm not certain, so I can check.

The other thing I was thinking of was some sort of compass that would attach to the stainless steel bar over the binnacle. Is there any such thing? I might have to consider having a cradle of some sort built...but I am also a bit concerned about the compass deviation from something like that.
