Has anybody used an Actisense converter in a Raymarine STng network? I'm not looking to start a discussion of 0183 vs 2000 vs ethernet, for reasons unrelated I have purchased an a65, which is tied into a STng network, and halfway across the boat is a Standard GX2150.
The Standard documentation clearly shows a connection diagram, for interfacing to a Ray network, but they conveniently omit the fact that there are two protocols involved. That said, Ray suggests an Actisense protocol converter, and there are (a large number of versions) two versions that COULD be applicable, one specifically for AIS and one specifically for STng.
Anybody done a GX2150 into STng integration?
