Hello, new to the forum and looking to run a NMEA cable from the electrical control panel to the helm on an '89 Hunter 30-2. Wondering if anyone here has experience with this install? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Kurt. The H30-2 is a nice boat. Hunter often ran cables in conduits (wire chases) about the boat. I would suspect you can find access at the helm and follow the wires back to the control panel. NMEA cable comes in bulk form and has field attachable connectors.
A fiberglass rod wire fish should work neatly to move the cable through the conduit.
