NMEA 2K instruments for Universal M25?

A quick search did not yield any hits, so here goes:

We have a 1985 Catalina 30 mk I with a Universal M-25 and metal diesel fuel tank.

I'd like to have engine & fuel readings on my NMEA 2K network (SIMRAD EVO2 & GARMIN GMI-10s) but I'm not sure which (if any) instruments to use.

Has anyone done this?

I used the Noland Engineering unit to bring Oil Pressure, Water Temp, RPM Tach, Battery Voltage back to my Garmin 720 Chartplotter via Nmea 2000.
I had an earlier version and it was cheaper than the new unit.
