Endeavour 32 Portland, Maine
I have put together an email list of crew and others involved in my plans and just sent this out:

This weather site is the one I have found most useful, probably because it is put together by a sailor:

http://l-36.com/weather.php?lat=39....74.2&yd10=on&zone1=ANZ452&zone2=ANZ400&v=0.50

The link is set for just offshore from Brigantine, NJ.

It's looking like a damp and unpleasant trip down in the next fair wind with the possibility of thunderstorms. I don't have strong enough reasons to get south soon to do it it a boat without a dodger. A year ago today, I was just leaving Portland and didn't go through NY until nearly 3 weeks later.

I'd like to meet up with the Portland fleet, now in Stonington and delayed by today's westerly. I've also got a chance to explore this very interesting end of the sound that I've always rushed through so I will await the next weather window. Something good has got to come along in the next couple of weeks.

The forecast is still rather long so this could change but there has been little change in trend or timing over the past few days so I think this is what we can expect.

I'm going to stay north of Sandy Hook until next week unless I see significant change on this site.

Roger
