Nissan 9.9 oil filter wrench

Hi, I have a 2001 Hunter 260 with a Nissan 9.9 outboard. I like to change the oil myself but the oil filter is really crowded and difficult to remove. Can anyone recommend where I can buy a good oil filter wrench? I've tried the loop type and there isn't enough room to work. Thanks. Tim

I found one at O'Reilly' Auto Parts ~ brought in a filer and check it for fit

Your engine is built by Tohatsu as well as the smaller Mercury engines. If you have a Tohatsu or Mercury dealer in your area , they should be able to assist.

I use the screwdriver method. Place rags under the filter to catch any oil. Punch a screwdriver through the filter and use that to loosen it.
