Henk, I agree with your conclusion. Having practiced MOB drills in 11' seas, 40 plus knots of wind, daylight, with a pretty agile crew, the one conclusion that is very apparent is...Never ever fall overboard. I was also told one time that 50% of the bodies recovered after a MOB were men with their zippers undone. If that is true (and I think they were putting me on) then the statistically dangerous activity probably has something to do with the beer intake. Dan Jonas (S/V Feije)
