Night illumination on Tachometer

Does anyone know if the tachometer from a Yanmar 2GM has illumination for night viewing?

I have a 2001 2gm yanmar and the tack lights up but it shhould'nt matter what engine model you have its the tack model I would think that should have a light hook up.

Yanmar Tach Light

Moe,On the Yanmar Engine Control Panel, there is a toggle switch. It rests in the 'straight out' position. Momentary push up tests the temp alarm light (when the ignition switch is on). This is done just prior to starting. Fixed position down turns on the Tach illumination light for night operation.Regards,Dick CareyS/V Puffin1990 H-33.5
