nice seating for cockpit

I would like to get nice seating for the cockpit, similar to what you would see on a power boat. I have searched the web and catalogs and can't find that type of seating. Is there some reasson why removable pads is the stanard for sailboats. If anybody knows please help. I have a 89 30 87-93 hunter. If custom how much would that cost. I noticed even large new boats don't come with this comfort.

Matthew: Most of the ones you see on powerboats are the cheapo ones that are just vinyl over inexpensive foam. The ones that they sell on the how site are closed cell foam with either a mesh cover or vinyl covered foam. Bottom Sider's can/will do custom enhancements too (snap tabs, boat name etc). They are not cheap, but will last for many years with extereme comfort. Check out the Bottom Sider's and Sunsure on the Chandlery tab - click on cockpit and you will see the cushions.
