I know this seems a bit premature however, here goes. Can anyone give me any inside info. or info. in general on a mooring or slip closer to my home. I moored in New Bedford this year which was good sailing but I didn't use my boat that much partially due to the distance from home some 45 minutes to an hour away. I'm looking in the Wareham, Marion, Onset area. I would love Plymouth Harbor but that would be an impossiblity. Any one have a cottage or beach rights that would be interested in renting some space? Any response appreciated, thanks. Mark

I live in Pembroke and joined a yacht club

in Weymouth ..You have to purchase your own mooring and the membership fee for the first year is 850.00 after that it's 560.00. I was paying 2300.00 a year for a mooring so this is a big saving for me. I really enjoyed the yacht club this year and now the mooring is mine. So next year all I have pay is 560.00 The yacht club is Wessagussett in Weymouth so it's alot closer for you.. You can look them up online to see what you think..
