Newbie Question - Bottom Scratch

I've mangaged to put a pretty nice scratch/gouge in the bottom of my boat. It's only a few inches long, but is deep enough to be into the fiberglass. What's the easiest way to repair this without having to repaint the entire bottom.

Go get a epoxy kit, learn to use it, use it offten, keep it handy. This is my motto since 2001. It is real easy to use and the little pump set ups are awesome. Get a can of filler, I use the west marine 410 it is a real light, easy sand filler. Stir till it really starts to set up then trowel it in the crack, smooth up as best you can, if you need to then sand and paint.
