Hi John,

I have a Vega on San Francisco Bay that is for sale unless I can figure out a way to get it to Nova Scotia. (Please don't anyone suggest I take it around the Horn) In very good condition, lots of new stuff and reasonably priced. If San Francisco Bay isn't too far for you, let me know, and I will give you some details.

John Neal is still around. He and his wife teach sailing, give lectures, and I think operate some sort of charter service. I saw them at the Oakland boat show in Jack London Square last year. He calls his business Mahina Expeditions.
