My wife and I are going to do a one week bareboat charter (32 footer) in the Bay of Islands the second week of January. Any advice or must see locations??? We own and regularly sail an H36 in Lake Champlain and did a charter in BVI last year.

Hi Tom; I have a friend who runs a B&B there, her name is Carolyn Mills. She is a life long sailor from Bay City, Michigan. Give her a shout when you get there, she will have some ideas for you. Better yet, if you need a pre or post stay, I hear her place is great, but very expensive by our standards. Here is her web site. http://www.attitorelodge.com/ Tell her "Buck" sent you.
