Spinnaker furler. I've decided I don't want a drone because I'd rather sail than mess with cameras. Don't get me wrong. It would be fun. But I really just want to sail.
Smart.
It is EXTREMELY tricky to retrieve on a moving boat. Add in stays and sheets and you better be VERY good.
I guess what I *really* want is for someone to video my boat under spinnaker while I'm sailing. Now that would be cool. Maybe gettinthere should be gettinhere. Or maybe I should be gettinthere.
Three shoot days, 30 hours of editing, a chase boat, $10,000 worth of gear and 25 years experience. $$$$$$$$$

the furler has been tested in 12, but the sheer size of the kite precludes anything more than 10.Do you even need a spin up in 15-20 kts of breeze?
Even the Tarot would have a hard time keeping up with the boat in 12 kts, with any hope at all of getting decent video.
The vid was shot over 3 days. Most was in about 7 or 8 knots but we did run out of wind at one point and so one or two were shot in about 4 knots of wind. I would check with Bamar and Mack as to upper wind limits. I have a lot of experience in film
