This past weekend, Jack's Place got her new UK vertical baton main sail. She participated in a race and the boat reached an honest 9.08 knots while flying the asymetrical spinnaker in moderate (to 13 knot apparent) winds. Ours was the first vertical baton done by the loft that was used to design and make it. Check out our web site for the full update. The difference in this new sail is truely dramatic. The picture attached here was taken literally minutes after it was installed on the furling mast. We left shortly after for the race.
