new transom engine mount

i am installing new transom mount(garelick 71093 lte), i need to shim brackets so release handle does not hit transom, does anyone know where i can get tapered "shim" or bracket to accommodate angle of transom

Most people fab a new wedge to accommodate the reverse counter transom. The new brackets are wider than the originals. I have seen one person use aluminum angle iron. It was recently, probably on this forum. He had nice pics. It served a dual purpose of strengthening the transom. Use the search and see what you come up with.
