xoyoo444m88a I think should read "XDYC0444M88A" ?
Not to repeat the above posting, but I'll refer to my copy of the Official O'DAY translation <grin!> I also corrected the digits that didn't make sense.
XDY = O'DAY
C = O'DAY 19
0444 = 444th O'DAY 19 built
M = Model year format (not used after mid-1984, so......)
88 = 1988 model year (but, model year format not used in 1988)
A = January (month of build, based on 1984 and later format)
Now, the mystery...
The last O'DAY 19 was built in 1984.......... so something ain't right here?
Possibly, the HIN is actually "XDYC0444M83A"?
If that is the case...... (makes sense, 3 vs 8)
Everything above would apply, except "M83A"
That would translate as M83 = 1983 model year and "A" = August 1982 for the build date. Model Years ran from August to July, and for the 1983 model year that would be August 1982 to July 1983.
So, you seem to have the 444th O'DAY 19 built and she was finished in August of 1982 as a 1983 model.
