Hunter H33 Fairhaven, MA
Hello Everyone,
I'm the new kid on the block! I just purchased a 1981 Hunter H33. Yes, one could say I'm a newbie. I've never sailed, and "Dreamer II", is my first boat. So, I decided to post a thread mainly for the sake of thanking all of the contributors' posts which I've been reading diligently. I really don't want to spend all my time lurking behind the scenes. Yet, the information herein are pearls of wisdom for one such as myself. I started to use this site prior to my purchase. Thanks to everyone. (Hope I haven't taken-up too much bandwidth?):)

Regards,
Rob

Welcome Aboard! Always nice to greet a new member, especially a Cherubini member. I see that you are in MA and I am hoping your new H33 is riding out "Earl" without any problems. If you have been "lurking about" then you probably know about the many features of SBO. I have only been on here since 1998 when I started reading about Cherubinis because I was interested in a cutter rig. Still I learn something everytime I come aboard. The one thing that you will find is that we really like pictures. A common complaint is that sometimes a sailor will ask too many questions in one post. And often does not supply enough information for a problem. Still we love a puzzle so don't ever hold back. I hope we will see a lot of you and your boat.

P.S. A reminder that a lot of boat projects are common across the models. There are almost 200 posts in "Hunter Owner Mods" for the Cherubinis, 63 of those are for the H33.
