Just joined the forum and wanted to say hi. I hear the world is supposed to end at 6:00 PM today so I don't want to waste any more time. Got my boat about two months ago and have been getting her ready to sail. Should be ready just in time for hurricane season. Looking forward to commiserating with with all of you.

Well we still have 2 1/2 hours left. I think I am going to put a steak on the grill. I don't want to waste it.

I figured the time zone was where it was written, so that would have been Israel/Palestine.. we may be out of the woods already ... or the problem could have been rolling forward from the International Date Line last night.. Are some the South Pacific Islanders still around?? I dunno..??

Welcome Sir, I've heard that story before and its never been true besides if I'm wrong I want to be left behind for two reasons. 1) there is going to be a whole lot of nice boats left around without owners and 2) all of my friends will be going the other direction. Enjoy the group their all great people.

I kind of like it "here", which by itself would probably disqualify me from "there", so it was a no-brainer that I wouldn't be going. Even though most of the people I love are wonderful, selfless and respectful... I notice that they're all still here... wow the bar must have been set REALLY high, then.
