I want to replace the 4 foot t-track with a 6 foot piece on both sides of the boat. The starboard side is broken and I will put the new t-track on the port side as well. I have not done this before and I could use some advice as to how this is done. It looks as if the aft end of the track is bolted and screwed from the bottom. As the track goes forward, I can not see any of the screw ends. This will be on a c-22. Thanks Dale

Should be through-bolted

The T track should be through-bolted at every hole, Seems as though there should be some removable plates in the headliner if the boat has one that would expose the nuts. Then it jost becomes a matter of working with a partner to remove the old ones. The first four feet will be easy, just carefully taking the track and bending it to mactch te curve of the old track one bolt location at a time and reinstalling the bolts. Then for the extension, go one hole at a time and drill and bolt as you go. It just take patience. Try to find new bolts that are identical to your old ones for appearance sake if nothing else.
