New storm

Just thought I would share this. I see we have a new storm brewing near Grenada so I thought I would search for a webcam of it. The link is to a webcam of a nice anchorage in Grenada but the bad part of the storm seems to have left but you can see the boats handling the eastern side of the storm just fine.

They registered a 35 knot gust of wind at St. George earlier today. The troubling part is that they predict it will be in the southern Gulf of Mexico by the end of the weekend. I was going to be out of town for two weeks in July so I prepared the boats by removing canvas, doubling up on dock lines and setting anchors and fenders just in case. It did not bother me, to have to put everything back together, as this season has been most quiet. But now that we are heading into the its peak and with a couple of tropical depressions out there I hope it is not going to be "dejavu 2005" all over again.
