Carl, did you cross-reference the part numbers? Your link states that it is for the YSM series. Not too many boats with that Yanmar are there? I carry a spare starter even though I never had one fail. I don't think I paid any more than $250. and it is for the GM and YM series motors. Looks smaller than the one in your link also. One more thing, starters are relatively easy to remove and rebuild. Any auto electric shop can do it.
